Hi guys!
Very recently, I ahve been accepted to Northwestern University (with scholarship) from its waiting list. However, I have already gotten in to UC Berkeley before. FYI, I plan to study Economics/business in university. Should I choose NU or Berkeley? And why?

FYI, Berkeley has a two-year undergrad business program (which I have to apply for in my second year). Meanwhile, Northwestern just has an Econ major.

i don't know if you're a california resident or not, but if the scholarship that NU gave you matches the cost of attending berkeley, i would go to NU.

if berkeley is going to be A LOT cheaper, go to berkeley. both are amazing schools, although getting accepted to the business program at berkeley is extremely competitive. also, keep in mind what kind of campus life you'll want.

NU will be A LOT smaller with a more tight-knit commuinity, while berkeley is a huge public university where it's easy to get lost in the crowd. if you're not very outgoing, i would recommend going to NU.

You have no guarantee of acceptance to the business program at Cal, but if you're sure you can get in, then go to Cal. Otherwise, Northwestern is better imo.

Northwestern has an undergrad certificate through the business school now but like Berkeely business program, you'd have no guarantee of acceptance.

it is for internal transfers. Like Cal Econ/Undeclared -> Haas
for transfers from community college/other universities it is substantially less.
