Is it true that you can only send the same SAT score 8 times? I remember I read this somewhere. And, is sending a group of SAT scores to a school 10 dollars or is sending each 10 dollars? These policies are really hard to find on the collegeboard site.

You can send scores as many times as you want to as many colleges as you want. Whenever you request any one score be sent to a college, CB automatically sends all exisiting scores unless you exercise score choice and withhold a prior score from sending. You get four free sends with the application for any test which you must excercise/designate each college before the score comes out to actually get the scores sent free. You can always send scores to any colleges after the score comes out for $10 per college (again college will get all prior scores except ones you choose to withhold).

If you take ACT, the rules are different. You also get four free sends with any ACT test which colleges must be designated before the score comes out to actually get the free send. You can always send an ACT score to as many colleges as you want after a score comes out for $10 a college. The difference betweeen SAT and ACT is that ACT always sends only the particular test score ordered and no other scores from other tests. To send any other scores to a college, you must make a separate send of each score to the college for $10 per send.
