I possibly would like to pursue nursing in college, but I just had a few questions about Emory’s program. To start, I would just like to clarify how the BSN degree works at Emory. You apply to enter the actual major for your junior year, correct? Does anyone know how selective this is? Also, if one receives financial aid or merit scholarships to Emory upon entering freshman year (as in they got the scholarships when they applied senior year of high school), would this money transfer over once the student enters the nursing program his/her junior year? Thanks!!!
I think they basically autoadmit those who did the pre-reqs and have an okay (passing GPA), and yes your fin.aid and scholarships will carry over to any unit of Emory’s undergraduate programs.
Your financial aid continues to the nursing school and it’s automatic admission if you start at Oxford or Emory College (with a 3.0 overall and a 2.0 in your prereqs).
Okay thank you!
