Nursing - Chance/Post Stats Please!

Hi! I was curious to see if some of you who were accepted into the nursing program at UMass could post your stats? Also if some of you could chance me for the program, that would be great!

ACT: 28
gpa: 3.83 out of 4.15
I am currently taking all APs and honors courses. AP courses aren't offered at my school until junior year. Didn't start taking honors courses until junior year either due to a chronic illness and lack of attendance because of the illness (this will be included in my rec from my guidance counselor). APs taken: Lit&comp, Lang&comp, Bio.

Interned at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Currently interning with the paramedics in my town. So far I have gone through intubation training, IV training, EKG training, and have obtained my healthcare provider level CPR certificate.

Very involved within my community; I volunteer at my local soup kitchen and church. I work 20 hours a week, babysit often, and work with special needs kids every Tuesday night for 2 hours. In National Honor Society, SADD, Art National Honor Society, and my school's nursing club.

Stellar recs and a great essay from what I have been told.

Thanks!

What is your class rank percentage-wise?

@penguinz03‌ top 30

I got in with a scholarship with less-you’ll be fine!

I hope you have a decent sized school then- I know a nursing major and she said something about how the average stats for nursing majors was being top 10% in their class. Either way just apply and find out- no use debating about it now. I was told I wouldn’t be accepted as a cs major due to my mediocre gpa and sat yet here I am! I was expecting to earn my way into the major as undeclared but I got in as a cs major and I’m doing quite well in it so far

Just make sure you have some backup schools since nursing here is pretty competitive.
