Nursing major? and how do you like NYU?

Hi, I want to be a nurse and am considering quite a few places for nursing. Unfortunately not as many schools as I would like have a nursing program but I am interested in: NYU, BC, UIC (Illinois @ Chicago), Loyola Chicago, UVa

I would just like any info about the nursing program. Is it good? Do people like NYU's program or is it miserable? Hard to get into?

Any info would be appreciated. Here are my stats as of now (I am a junior in a private high school, Chicago suburbs)

GPA for freshman and sophomore year (cumulative): 98.81%
GPA for junior year, semester 1: 4.1 (this won't be calculated into our cumulative GPA until the semester is over (ends this week), so I used a GPA calculator)
ACT: 30 (first time. definitely re-taking)
ECs include a year of hospital volunteering, hopefully working for a urologist over the summer at another local hospital, hopefully getting some kind of part time job, house league softball every summer (my entire life lol), Italian Club (hopefully president next year, I missed this year's elections because I dislocated my knee a few days before, missed school because of it, and I had no idea we were even having elections).
Awards: I had a poem published...Principal's Honor Roll (99% and above)

Sorry for all the extra typing, just trying to explain myself as best as I can! I'm not really asking for chances, just like an opinion if I will stand a chance when senior year comes (probably the same thing as asking for chances lol). And any info about NYU nursing and the college as a whole would be great!!
