Hello, so I am still debating whether I really want to go to nursing but for sure I want to take biology major (double major if both majors are accepted in the school). My question is, would it be better to go to a CSU with a nursing and bio program or a UC that only has a bio major?
College I applied to:
CSU: Long Beach, Los Angeles, San Diego State University, and Pomona (does not have nursing but this is my ultimate safety school because I am considered for local area admissions)
UC: Merced (no nursing, but I heard it’s cheap and it has a lot of potential, is that true), San Diego (one of my dream school but no nursing, good biology program) and Los Angeles (good program on Biology and Nursing, VERY SELECTIVE)
Many also said to apply to Irvine because of nursing but I REALLY REALLY do not want to go there.
Also, If I decide to do the biology with no nursing route and I decided that I really want to go to nursing, what step do I have to take? I am trying to save a lot of money by just doing it all in a short time but at the same time I do not want to rush everything and regret after.
Anyways, my stats aren’t that splendid my UC/CSU score is 3.4 calculated and 3.2 preliminary according to my transcripts, but I have a lot of activities.
