<p>Hi CC,
I have a friend who is really having a hard time with her last semester of nursing school. As far as the in class stuff is going that is fine. However, this semester her preceptor has been very lousy and very unhelpful in mentoring her and that is all to say the least. As a result my friend is in fear of failing her precptorship, and also because she found out she was doing some things wrong because of the preceptor she has lost confidence in herself to complete the program.
So my question is if she fails her preceptorship for this spring semester what will probably happen next?
Also, have any RN graduates been treated so poorly and neglectfully by their preceptor and been in this situation before</p>
<p>Talk to the person who oversees the preceptorship program as soon as possible.</p>
