Hi,
I scored 96.2 in my boards and have a 99+ percentile in jee mains. How likely am I to get an offer from NTU?
I have applied for dual majors in CS and Economic
I guess they both are equally reputed universities in terms of academics, but if our admission is deferred to Jan 2021 for NTU, then I probably will go with UofT.
Congrats to you as well for UCL and Manchester!
hi everyone! very sorry to interrupt your conversation. i am currently in grade 12 CBSE and will be giving my boards in 2021. i am aiming to get into NTU. i would be very grateful if you could tell me what an ideal profile would be and what all do they want us to submit as I am a little lost after receiving information from various sites.
thank you so much and i hope all of you get accepted!
They generally don’t but considering that they won’t be able to take JEE Advanced as a criterion, I was hoping for some brownie points on basis of my percentile!
We all would be glad to help once we ourselves have some clarity on the kind of profile, students who end up receiving a positive response from the uni have.
Till then, best wishes!
Cheers
As we all expecting NTU outcome middle of August Just to check whether you all applied with Tuition grant or without Tuition grant . Is there is any advantage or disadvantage on applying for tuition grant . Heard NTU staff visited some schools in India have given some update
Almost all the Indian kids are applying for cs or ai/ml or data science so to get into those streams is gonna be super competitive…sciences hopefully will be easier.
Hey! I got 95 Boards, 1490 SAT 1, JEE Mains 92 (nbc lmao) . I do have pretty decent extra-curriculars and applied for NTU scholarships as well. Has anyone else applied for scholarships and heard back, or just heard back in general?
Hey antds1 , how r u?
I just mailed them yesterday and they said that they would let us know by mid aug to end aug
By the way, have u submitted ur JEE mains percentile? I conjecture they didn’t ask for it( only jee advanced)
Also, which course have u applied for?
