I've recently had the somewhat serious thought of working in the field of nutrition after college. I took a class as an elective in physical and nutritional wellness at community college before transferring to a four year school this semester. I enjoy talking about nutrition whether to relatives or friends. I'm double majoring in philosophy and economics, which leaves little room for any other courses considering I also have to take a couple foreign language classes to graduate. The nutrition minor here entails eight classes, four of which are science prerequisites, and the other four are actual nutrition courses. Can I theoretically complete the nutrition minor alongside my other two majors and graduate on time? I could, but that'd mean I'd be taking credit overloads for a minor (As a side note, my school charges a flat tuition rate, they don't charge extra for credit overloads). I'm asking a couple questions here- does it take nutrition grad school to work in the field of nutrition? And secondly, do you think its worth taking credit overloads for the minor?
