Nutrition majors

WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF A NON NUTRITION MAJOR STUDENT TO GET ACCEPTED TO GRAD SCHOOL WITH A GPA THAT MIGHT BE A 2.5 ? They require a 3.0 but one of my professors told me they look at your whole profile. How can I higher my chances of getting accepted....would raising my gpa my staying in undergrad and taking numerous easy classes and getting all a's a good option. Even if I did I'd have to take 4 semesters worth of classes and get all a's to go for that 3.0.....I only have 2 more classes to take to graduate, one of them being field work with children with autism....hoping that I'd get a good letter of recommendation.....Are there other nutrition school in Newjersey that I might get into? And there is no way I can do well with GRE's because my sat were average...and Ive taken 2 years of sat school but ended up with the same grades. How is it different to get a Masters in nutrition as opposed to a ph.d? Can you teach as a professor with a masters?
