I am currently attending a public hs in newyor state and many of you guys might know that we are required to take regents.
I already passed all my Regents. Passed the science regents, english, going to pass the foreign language one, and 2 math regents , algebra and geometry. I am a junior. I was accelerated so I took the geometry regents freshmen year. In sophomore year, I failed the trig alg2 regents. it was extremely hard. And that is the exam I need to pass in order to get the advanced regents diploma. I know adv regents diploma help if im applying for selective colleges and universities in the state. The thing is, this semester I got put into a normal/mainstream statistics class. It's not ap or anything. But all the kids who failed are suppose to go to pre-calc. Pre calc prepares you for the trig regents again in the beginning of the semester. But I also have a chance of going to AP statistics. if i go to ap statistics i would have an extra ap class which i think its good since it shows im taking rigorous courses. But the thing is should I go for the adv regents diploma or the ap statistics class.

P.S. I'm going for SUNY Buffalo or Uni in Canada (international)
So this is where the decisions are made :
Suny buffalo : adv regents diploma and ap class for uni in canada.
): im so confused i cant choose. I cant talk to my guidance counselor face to face because shes busy with the program changes and i talked to the college office teacher and she said its my choice and so on and it really wasnt any help at all. UGH what would you do? Pre calc or ap stats?
