Did anyone see the season premiere? It's a new reality show on Bravo about these kids who are disgustingly wealthy and attend private schools. The previews looked good, but it was actually pretty brain-numbing and a bit boring..It's just teenage drama (is he my boyfriend? are we just friends? etc.), but the only difference is that they're rich..It's supposed to be the real-life Gossip Girls or something.

Laughable quotes:
"You threw a water bottle at me!!!!!!!"
"I hook up with like 9 girls a night."
"It's all about me!"

On the whole, pretty perrrrthetic. They're so spoiled. And there's this one girl who's obsessed with getting into Harvard. She'll probably be a developmental admit...

Well duh! Look at the rest of Bravos line up. The Real House Wives of (insert random place) are all the same show. They’re a bunch of rich people who have too much time and fill their lives with drama. NYC Prep is also basically the same show except these kids have fake ids and flaunt that they can break the law and no one will care.

I was going to watch it, but I took a strange little cocktail earlier and was knocked out by 9pm.

I saw the thirty minute teaser they had from last week; the guy who I guess is the “real life Chuck,” what’s with him and that hair? He seemed like an obnoxious little ******.

I watched it, don’t know why because I hate that kind of show. Actually that’s probably why, I hate them so it made it interesting. And the Harvard girl, let’s just say that if the admissions officers see this show I don’t think she’ll have that much of a chance. I don’t know what she’s thinking being on there.

Yeah, I can’t understand why any of them would want to be on a reality show, especially if they want to get into a top college. The things they’re saying and doing won’t be very favorable in admissions. I especially don’t get why the girl from public school is on the show. At least if the other kids portray themselves badly, their parents can donate a building. But she’s screwing up her chances.

i’m easily entertained, for the most part. or maybe im just easily addicted to tv shows? whatever i like it. sebastian is pretty much a studmuffin, and jessie is a *****. =]

I keep missing the full episode. I also keep missing the premier of the Real World…not that either are probably worth watching. But I have an urge to fry my brain and need it fulfilled.

I was so excited for this show and then I watched it and realized how horribly staged it is. Like the SAT scores, why would she be getting her SAT scores back on a sunday and at brunch? That whole scence was odd. The show was generally odd as well, but nonetheless, I’ll continue to watch it religiously.
