<p>NYC Prep is hilarious, mostly because I know a ton of these kids. Taylor’s sister and a bunch of her friends, including that ex of hers, go to my school, and it’s really funny to watch them make fools of themselves on national television.</p>

<p>For some reason, all of the NYC Prep Gossip Girl comparisons had me randomly Google what she looked like.</p>

<p>yeah, I found it on YouTube after. Thanx. Its interesting- I know everyone one will disagree with me but i like Jessie the best. She is the only one who has real direction- working with operation SMILE and working so hard to make a career in fashion. As for Camille, U would think I would understand her the best but i CAN"T STAND HER ! If I was in NY, I would be trying to work in Science related research, internships and everything- trying to do as many extracurriculars that i’m passionate about esp. poetry . She sits in fancy restaurants and worries about getting into Harvard. How is she going to get into harvard when her extracurriculars are spreading gossip and paying 300 dollars for a dress ? I’m sorry- i just feel like most of us here would use any money and connectiveness we had in a mUCH Better way!</p>

<p>But she’ll probably bribe her way in anyway :}

<p>People need to realize that the show is completely scripted. I live in NYC, and so I know plenty of people who know the cast members, and apparently they’re nowhere near as awful in real life.</p>

<p>Also, Taylor’s “ex” (they didn’t date in real life) goes to my school and he gets made fun of constantly lol (her sister just graduated from my school also and she was smart enough to not sign a waiver).</p>

<p>My daughter and I just watch the two episodes this week. We just can’t get over how fake these teens live. Also it made us sad to see that some of these kids are living adult lives when they have not even finished growing up. Wow, those are some parenting skills, leave your kids to do whatever they want. And then you wonder where they went so wrong…oh never mind, they can pay to fix their lives.</p>

there are so many other options for community service. just look around, instead of going to the spa. lol, it’s not that hard!</p>

<p>I watched yesterday’s episode too (the only reason i watch it b/c gossip girl season ended and besides secret life which is so annoying, i dont watch much tv). OMG, P.C. got on my effin nerves. There he was on a party in mexico and he was just acting like a ***** when he could have been having fun. i dont think the show is going to hurt the seniors on it now (b/c they already applied to college) but for the sophomores and camille…maybe.</p>
