I just got invited to do the NYLF medicine program. I was wondering whether it was worth the money and the college credits it says it offers
It depends on what you are looking for.
@yikesyikesyikes As in department? I want to do it for psychology if that’s what you’re asking
I meant what you attempt to accomplish. If you think it is a super prestigious program or something that is very exclusive, you would be mistaken (I am aware that there might be a selection process, however). If you are okay for paying for a program that may be well-run, fun, and informational, but not as elite as it is made up to be, then this could be a program for you. Generally, programs you have to pay for do not impress admissions officers as much as one would think.
Knowing the cost, if this program will help you pursue your interest, then it can be a great experience.
If you think it will be worth the money for self-fulfillment go for it, however if you’re wondering if it helps admission into any university the answer is no. If it did then everyone would be signing up for this program. Like yikes said if you have to pay for it,USUALLY it isn’t impressive.
No. It’s just a money making thing for the most part. If you have the money go for it, but it’s not extremely prestigious of anything.
