@Catsrock it was the emotions spoke to him

@jamesjunkers If it was a good essay, the max score your friend could get is 3 or 4 (depending on how nice the grader is).

And for the one where you have to write about a literary element how it develops the passage i did passage number 2 and did the characterization how she was selfless

What was the question where the answer was optimistic

And what was the question about lowliness

@Catsrock the tone of the poem

for the critical lens i disagree and i used the lord of the flies

@catsrock I did the same thing! I used chrecterization and said how the author was determined and especially caring as he did all that for the whale. So I basically said he was selfless. What did u guys do for the first one with the two passages?

@Indiangurl for the other response i did its human nature to want to help out someone and i just talked about the author in passage 1 and 2 butfor the whale i didn’t know it was a male so i said the author was selfless by helping the whale do you think thats alright?

@catsrock omg I said the exact same thing too! And yeah I didn’t know what gender the author was so I referred to him/her as the author

Great minds think alike lol @Indiangurl
What books did u use for the task 4 and my interputation was it may seem vile but the good is often hidden and i kinda just get rambling about it lol wbu

Hahha me too! I used scarlet letter and A thousand splendid suns hbu?

Nice! I did the road and of mice and men@indiangurl

Cool! For a thousand splendid suns I twisted the quote a bit to include people who may seem rude or mean are actually good on the inside, since I could use my second novel tjere

New York State’s inability to gauge a student’s achievement is laughable. Apparently, I was incorrect in assuming the tone of the poem is restrained, which it is. Consequently, the controlling idea I established, which was disconnection hinders compassion, is incorrect. Apparently, I was also incorrect in assuming the basis of the child fantasy passage is parental beliefs, which it is. I understand why one would choose theories and evidence, which seems to be true as well. I’ll recieve score of 70 on this regents. Will I be able to retake the regents? I really don’t want to take this again, but I won’t accept a 70.

Oh very nice! My teacher didnt make us read that book lol. I think i got 2 or 3 mc questions wrong so i was hoping for a90 but idk anymore maybe low 80s

@WorriedJunior9 what exactly was the question with the evidence and theories asking and what were the choices again?

I dont rly remember i think where it said why did this have - between the word

Do u know the question about the optimistic one @Indiangurl

I put optimistic. Do you remember the choices for the one with the imaginary friends and basis thing?

Im sorry i really don’t remember lol feels so long ago
