My one question regards the poem, it asked what was the author's tone?
Most of my friends said "restrained," I said "optimistic" -- if it is restrained, can you explain why.?

I put optimistic, it really wasn’t restrained at all, haha

@Saswizy, I really hated the question, no answers were “right”

If I spelled an authors last name wrong and spelled a characters names wrong, will I lose major points that will make me get a 5 on my critical lens?

It was restained

Also, really weird question, but for the listening, did anyone get the same 4 answers, twice?
Like (I’m not sure what they were), but it went 4-1-3-2…4-1-3-2?

How many literary elements were you supposed to use for each paragraph/book in the critical lens? Were you supposed to say what elements you were going to use in the intro or is it ok if you just mentioned it in the paragraphs?

Use at least 2 elements (i use 4/paragraph)
WHY WAS IT RESTRAINED?

I put optimistic

Restrained is defined as characterized by reserve or moderation; unemotional or dispassionate. I don’t see how that explains it…

@jamesjunkers it was definitely optimistic! The whole thing was about him helping people and wanting to connect with people.

And I used two per book

Yeah it was optimistic. Do any of you guys know the answer to my question above about the spellings? Thank you

i put restrained because i thought he wanted to connect with people but didn’t get the chance too since he kept going like “let me” do this and “let me” do that

It was restrained because he repetitively expressed his desire to lend a helping hand by stating “LET ME live by the side of the road to be a friend to man” or something like that. The “Let me” represents that he is unable to do so and therefore restrained from fulfilling his desires.

@Indiangurl they grade your essay holistically so since it’s minor as long as the rest of your essay is good, you should be fine

But he was hopeful to be allowed to help people.

@Indiangurl, if everything else is fine, that could still easily be a 6 (perfect score)…do not worry
