Mine still says Test scores and transcripts are outstanding, but complete mark is checked… I don’t know what happens.
@YoungOne4 as far as I remember from last year, nothing new will happen till the results are out. So we gotta just wait for now.
Hey everyone, I’m reading the EDII string and they’re reporting changes in available links under the Housing tab on Albert. I’m afraid to ask, but are any of your RD applicants like me seeing any changes? Mine still looks like this:

Sooooo am I the only one who didn’t know we had to pay to file our CSS? Doesn’t that defeat the purpose? Paying in order to apply for financial aid?

@ascholar13 I thought the exact same thing! Ended up costing 79 plus another 25 for my noncustodial profile. It’s kinda ridiculous if you ask me lol :))

Have you put a housing deposit down? I am looking on housing and it says I can pay $1000 housing deposit for the fall. Applied RD. I am just wondering if I need to pay the deposit.
and2018 were you accepted? I would think you do not pay anything unless they tell you you are in. And if that happens, and you want to attend, by all means pay it! 
@holdingouthope no I am not accepted yet. I was on my Albert account and then noticed that when I went to housing that it was there asking to pay the deposit. In Texas where I live you do put down deposits for housing prior to admissions but it is only $50 so that you get housing preferences. I didn’t remember NYU saying anything about deposits being asked for before admissions so I was wondering why I had that on my portal. Does everyone have this on their Albert?
@and2018 Yes, I see “view your bill and make housing payments” right below NY housing payments, but it is not a link. Just a sentence. I don’t remember if it was always there, but I think it was. Anyway, there are lots of ED posters from this year and last who said the presence or absence of any “change” re housing or FA had no absolutely correlation to outcome.
Do you have the option of paying the deposit of $1000? I am more concerned if it is necessary to put one down in order to have housing preferences. I know they guarantee that you can live on campus as a freshman but to put down your first and second choices. That is how it is here in the Texas schools. Of course $1000 is a whole lot more to put down than $50 for preferences and then not get in.

@BrKmNk exactly and in there it has that I can put down a $1000 deposit for housing in the fall. Do you have that as well?
not directly… it appears when I select the deposits section and when i choose fall 2018… a 1000$ payment shows up there @and2018
@BrKmNk Yes, I can click all the way through to that $1,000 deposit for fall 2018 screen, too (ditto for Summer 2018 and Spring 2018)…by clicking initially on “NYU Housing Payments” under the “Housing” caption. But I also note that summer 2018 housing gives the option of “law summer housing,” so I think this is standard fare.
Is “View My Financial Aid Summary” new?
