<p>So, I wrote this killer essay a while back for my common app. but I'm afraid that the topic will hurt me in my application to NYU.</p>
<p>It's kind of nature focused, and NYU is so urban...</p>
<p>Can anyone read it and tell me if I should write a new essay or submit this one?!?!</p>
<p>I’ll be happy to read it, I got accepted last year but I deferred until Fall 2012. My essay was about folk festivals and nature though! PM it to me :)</p>

<p>I think as long as your essay is not trite you’ll be fine. I wrote mine about the struggles of living in the middle class. I know my topic seems REALLY ■■■■■■■■, but it turned out spectacular.</p>

<p>Haha, It would be unfair to be biased against nature unless, of course, you are degrading metropolitan society :p</p>
