NYU CAS chances for ED? (Junior)

NYU CAS chances?

I lived in Canada and the US during my high school years. I’m also a Junior.

Repeated Junior year in the US, since the Canadian curriculum was a lot different from the American one. I was behind. (e.g. Canada splits bio into 2 years; the US covers it in one, so I only did 50% of biology)

GPA in Canada (Mostly “Canadian honors”): 78.7
GPA in the United States: 93.6 (with 4 APs (APUSH (90), AP Bio (90), AP Psych (95), AP Language and Comp. (92) and Precalc Honors (97))

SAT I: 2250 (770 Math, 790 Writing, 690 CR); Going to retake to superscore to at least 2300

SAT IIs:
Math L2: 800, USH: 780, Bio M: 800, Korean w. Listening: 800

Projected APs: USH (4), Bio (5), Lang and Comp. (5), Psych (5)

EC’s: VP of Sales and Marketing for a student venture company
Varsity swim team in grades 10-11 in Canada
Missionary trip to a Native Canadian reservation during a summer in freshman year for a week
Gay-Straight Alliance member in the US
I’m planning to found a club in my senior year.
Planning a lot more ECs during the summer.

For my essay, I’m going to write about living in 4 different countries in search of a better education, and how I learned the most valuable lesson in my life (perseverance).

How do I stack up against others applying to CAS so far? I want to major in Comp. Sci. What should I work on? Please don’t sugarcoat, and thanks for reading!

I knew Canadian grading scale was a lot softer than the American one, a 78.7 average amounts to a 3.4 average, when brought to the 4.0 scale as applied to Canada. But, on the American portion, it looks like a 4.0. Can you afford NYU?

NYU: Match

I’d give CAS ED a low match. I’m sure you can get in RD too. Try aiming higher.
