Nyu cas econ - stern internal transfer

Hi

I'll get right to the point.

My Grades are...

Micro Econ A-

Macro Econ B+

International Writing Workshop A

Calculus B+

GPA: 3.575

What are my chances?

Harsh Criticisms Accepted...

Sorry bro, chances are slim. To transfer into Stern, you basically need get better grades than the Sternies themselves. To get in, you probably need close to a 4.0 gpa. One or two A- maybe acceptable, so around a 3.8 or 3.9.

I actually did better than I thought,

So I got
Micro Econ A-

Macro Econ A-

International Writing Workshop A

Calculus B+

GPA: 3.7

What are my chances now? Also, is it true that calculus is the most important subject?

Should I drop calculus right now and retake it next semester?

Give it a shot, but I think your chances are slim. Don’t consider dropping Calc, that looks horrible on your transcript.
