Feel free to ask anything! I'll try my best to answer.

How’s life at NYU Cas and the campus as a whole?
How are your professors like?
What were your stats?

Thank you! :)

Since you are pre-med how do you balance out your classes/studying/going out? does your advisor do a good job at helping you create a good schedule for your classes?

@mashimashi8 The life in the campus is great. Washington Square Park is a really great place to chill, and there are so many buildings in which you can just chill(people go to Bobst to sleep…). The professors are really helpful. They readily make time(in their office hours of course, no other time) for you, and especially the recitation professors; since recitations are composed of a smaller group than lectures, there is more time for one-on-one discussion. I had a 2260 SAT Reasoning(740CR 790M 730W) and my SAT II were 800 MathI, 770 US History, 710 Chem, 720 Bio.

@sydneyread as you can expect, the classes are A LOT of work. This semester I’m taking bio, chem, expository writing, and a freshman seminar that all nyu students are required to take. All of those classes require a lot of work(especially expos, so much reading and writing. 5-7pages papers) and bio/chem require you to review a lot of material. Labs also take up immense time, especially chem labs(they are 4hours). But just like high school, it all depends on not slacking and not procrastinating; finish work on time then no matter how much work you have, you still have free time to go to club festivals and hang out in the city. As for the advisors, they are helpful when talking in person. There are also cohort groups in which you can have a more intimate time to talk to your advisor. But the final schedule actually depends on you; the advisor only suggests what you should take. If you’re a bio major but you want to take all the required MAP courses instead of bio and chem, you can. Also, you choose whatever time is comfortable for you. So you have the final choice
