Hi Friends!
I’ve posted before and I was accepted to four SUNY’s: Geneseo, Stony, New Paltz and Bing. I applied to Colgate, Cornell and Columbia GS and was shut down from them. I have a 3.7 unweighted GPA, I am Editor-in-Chief of my college paper at Suny Suffolk, I am in the following Honor Societies: Psi Beta, Sigma Kappa Delta, Phi Theta Kappa and a Who’s Who, which probably does’t mean a whole lot. I was a nominee for Student of the Year, but lost. I just received the SUNY Chancellors Award, I was a tutor for 1.5 years at Suffolk, I am a member of the Publications Committee and Sub-Committee and I am the college representative for the Academic Integrity Committee. I also just received The Distinguished Student Award last week. NYU is my last big school that I am hoping for. If I don’t get in, I will likely be attending Binghamton. Unfortuantely, Bing does not have a Communications program and I will likely have to major in Engish instead, which I would rather not do, but I do intend on going to grad-school anyway. I know that nobody can tell me for sure, but a chance would be terrific. I am sure that I will be hearing from NYU very shortly, but I would just love to hear some opinions as to wheter or not you guys think I have a shot. Thanks and God bless!
