My recommendations should be excellent, and i think(hope) my essays are pretty good.

My other schools are:
Lehigh
Bucknell
TCNJ
Lafayette
Rutgers, New Brunswick
Stevens IT

If you could tell me what you think my chances are, or other schools that would fit please please let me know.

btw im applying to the college of arts and sciences

anybody????

With a good essay, and several letters of recommendation your chances are as follows:
NYU - reach
Lehigh - possible match / reach
Bucknell - possible match
TCNJ - don't know
Lafayette - reach
Rutgers, New Brunswick - match
Stevens IT - possible match

NYU reach?- possibly, mostly because of your GPA. If not for the GPA, I would say your in, but that makes me bite my tongue. Did you apply early or regular? I applied to NYU early and your SAT's are better, but my GPA is higher. If only we could share stats.... Good Luck!

thx guys-- i applied regular and my SAT IIs are as follows:
Math IIc- 750
Writing- 660
US History- 590 (awful)

anybody else?

do SAT II's influence acceptance or just placement?

hello?.........

sweeeeeeeett

Your rank is going to hurt you at NYU. Your SAT is decent, but nothing impressive for NYU.

Your best bet is to have a great essay and recs. to serve as an ace in the hole. Besides Lehigh, it seems you may have a great shot at the other schools on your list.

Good luck.

-NYU class of '00
