******NYU Class of 2020 RD Discussion******

I only have a 3.68 UW (4.1 W) but 34 ACT, applied to Tandon (mechanical engineering), hope I actually got in !

Back to Non-Renewable Undergrad :confused:

@ivycoach

“Mine says FRESHMAN. Does this mean I’m in? 4.7W 2380 to CAS”

Really. Because a few weeks ago you started a thread on this forum that said you got accepted to NYU ED2 with a full ride and 3.9W. Suddenly you have a 4.7W and never got accepted? I don’t know why you’re bothering spending your time giving people misleading information.

@ivycoach so did you get in with a full ride ED2 or not? I’m confused. I checked also and this is what you said.

"So I have a 32 ACT (33 superscored) and a 3.9W with a downward trend.

My extracurriculars were rather lackluster, yet I ended up getting 69K in scholarships from NYU. Nearly 50K from CAS and the rest from some diamond scholarship thing…

How was this possible? A hardship involving one of my parents occurred my junior and senior year, but we’re fine now.

Im confused because I thought NYU was stingy with funding. And it’s not like they had to convince me to come since it was ED… And my stats aren’t by any means perfect… A FULL RIDE? WHAT!!! I’m excited though. But like… what…

mine is non-renewable undergrad again:/

non-renewable too

non-renewable :frowning:

mine’s gone from non-renewable to completely blank, any idea what that means?

@world21 Mine is blank too. No boxes at all.

About three weeks before decisions came out, some ED2 applicants’ housing changed from non-renewable to freshman. The day before decisions came out, about everyone’s housing changed to non-renewable again. A few hours before decisions came out, housing changed to freshman for some once again. When decisions came out, most who had the original freshman change (the one that occurred three weeks before decision day) got in. However, a lot of those who got the change few hours before decision didn’t get in.

My conclusion would be that those who get the change a few weeks from decision day will get in and ED1, ED2, and previous students can prove that but those who get the change right before decisions come out shouldn’t rely on that change.

Okay my boxes are back now. still non-renewable

At this point it seems like NYU is just messing with us now, cuz they probably know we check the housing site like crazy.

hi guys, i applied for stern

where do you guys check for the housing lol?

I know right. 30 minutes after I checked the first time they’re back. This is getting crazy. @jkman101

This thread is spicy, anyways… I applied to NYU but not for housing since I’m already in the city, would I still be able to see changes for the housing?

LOL GUYS PLZ where r u seeing these housing things ;_;

@teenagecrime https://housing.nyu.edu/apply

Housing change seems like a good thing. Same with access to classes. Not everyone has those changes.

Curious…
Can everyone get to the newclasses.nyu.edu site? Does it show an Nyu email address for everyone there?
