*****NYU Early Decision 2 Class of 2020 Discussion*****

so that gives us hope and that is good! thanks for info. did they ask you for transcripts or what? @readyplayerone

I applied to Tisch and I received a housing change today

Has anyone applied ED2 to Stern and received the housing change?

@kdr2698 Yes I’ve heard of two ED2 Stern applicants get the change

I applied NYUSH 2nd and my primary was NYC @theniqqa23

I did. @kdr2698

I got the housing change a few days ago. However, I just checked this morning and for “Spring in NYC” it said freshman too, rather than being unavailable as it was before. Does anyone know why that would be? I thought the housing change only pertained to Fall in NYC.

@sgks1313 that is super weird…can’t think of a reason why that would happen

@classlena

But your absolutely baseless speculation that “oh, if you haven’t gotten it yet, you probably didn’t get into NYU. Sorry” does incite panic. It’s akin to yelling “Fire!” when there isn’t one. There’s no reason to be freaking out, but you saying what you said is causing others to unnecessarily freak out.

If you’re really this worried, get off CC and go do something else for the next two weeks. You obviously can’t handle the stress, so please stop pushing it onto other people.

@sgks1313

Wait, it should say unavailable? Both fall and spring for me say “Non-Renewable Undergraduate”

And spring is before fall…

@dehca2016 if you receive the housing change, spring 2016 becomes unavailable.

@pizzaandpeonies

Ok. Thank you! Guess I keep waiting…

i have exactly the same thing. let’s just wait and see what will happen in next two weeks @dehca2016

i notice a lot of people here are international - have you guys visited nyu’s campus before?

nope, unfortunately. :frowning: @pizzaandpeonies have you?

@classlena yeah, around a year ago when i was in NYC for a journalism convention at columbia - i visited NYU after. if you get accepted, you should definitely go visit before orientation and stuff!

I haven’t. If I get accepted, I’ll probably book a ticket the next day. haha. But I’m in indiana, so its much cheaper for me to go there.

@dehca2016 go midwest! LOL

Guys stop bagging on @classlena lol it’s so easy to not be freaking out from the point of view of someone who has the housing change but I know for a fact if you guys did not have it you would be reacting the same way

@scoobysnacks56

I don’t have the housing change and I’m not freaking out. Well, not as much as him at least. haha.

Whatever happens is really out of my control at this point, and I’m not going to freak out over something i can’t control. Whatever happens happens, I know I’m going to be fine no matter what NYU decides.
