@booyakah my guess is that they don’t know the link is out there, and just give you instructions to get to that link upon acceptance. but not sure!

this is so confusing, NYU hasn’t once emailed me about missing credentials but my application status still has one section marked incomplete. Have they failed to update it? I emailed them about it two days ago and they still haven’t gotten back to me on it. Does this mean they haven’t reviewed my application yet? (It gives me both hope that my housing change hasn’t occurred due to this AND nervousness about it being incomplete 2 weeks before decisions)

@trign0metry this has been talked about before in other threads. pretty much everyone can’t access it, regardless of the change
@trign0metry I got the housing change on the 21st but it won’t let me access the computer thing. If you look on past ED threads though, almost no one could access it as well.
@mang0esxx so basically you go to housing.nyu.edu/apply and if under the fall in NYC application it states freshman (and not non-renewable undergraduate) that allegedly means you got in
I’ve had a dream twice that I got deferred and I told my family and my brother apparently had a dream that he broke our mailbox trying to get my NYU acceptance letter out.

According to a Reddit user on the NYU2020 Subreddit in regards to the housing change:
“Hi I am in NYU 2019 and absolutely everyone I have asked about this (who goes here so they obvs got accepted) got the housing change. If you have it, you’re in.”
I’m just confused why some of us actually have access legitimately to the housing website via the “housing forms” channel, while others have to access it backdoor without actually having permission. Well I do know that AD and SH don’t get housing changes or financial aid changes till the day of or day before at least according to others who got into those 2 campuses.
