NYU Early Decision II Concern

My parents and I have recently decided to apply to NYU via early decision II, the deadline being January 1st. I have everything ready to submit except for the early decision agreement form. I'm not going to be able to see my guidance counselor until school starts which is after the deadline.

What would happen if I submitted my application via ED II and submit my early decision agreement form after the deadline? Would that be a problem?

No, I don’t think so. I applied to Columbia ED, and I had totally overlooked that there was a counselor component of the agreement form. I was notified that this was incomplete by Columbia via email a few days after I applied, and I was simply told to have my counselor submit the form by December 1, 15 days after the application deadline. I’m not sure about NYU’s policy, but my guess is that you’re safe.

thanks so much!
i emailed NYU admissions… and i got an automatic response saying they’re closed for the holidays (-.-)
I just don’t want the chance of my application getting thrown out if I do EDII and there isn’t an agreement form sent in by jan 1st

any other input/advice?
