NYU ED CAS Chances?

NYU CAS is my dream school/my top choice! I would like to know if I have a shot at ED.

GPA: 88.125/100
on 4.0 scale (converted on my school scale by my guidance counselor)- 3.6

My school also does not give out class ranks.

ACT- 25
English- 27
Math- 25
Reading- 27
Science- 26

Super scored- 26

(Math and Science were on the same test, English and Reading were on 2 separate tests, I just put the highest I got on each section)

Yes my test scores and GPA aren't the best.

Course Load/APs/Honors
(I was placed in the accelerated science program in 8th grade, essentially I took each science course a year earlier than other students) And at my school we aren't allowed to take AP courses until we're in 11th grade.

AP US History- 3 on AP (really bad probably not sending that in)
College level Italian (Advanced college experience program, taking a college course in high school 93 average)
Honors Physics
Science research (grades 10,11,12)- (Where we conduct our own research experiment alongside a mentor in your area of study) Kinda like doing undergrad research in college, but in high school.
AP Bio- currently enrolled
Honors Global History
Advanced College level Italian- currently enrolled
Public Affairs (college course)- currently enrolled

Extracurricular's/Volunteer work-

Girl scouts- Twelve years- I received my gold award about a year ago (highest honor you can receive in girl scouts. (Also got silver and bronze awards)

Varsity Swimming- 5 years (started in 8th grade)- went to sectionals for a relay- captain this year.

Korean Club-2 years (I'm not Korean myself, but we helped my friend who is from Korea start a club)- Treasurer- We donate school supplies to underprivileged youth in Korea

Italian Club- 3 years-

Italian National Honor Society- 3 years- (demonstrating excellence in the language of Italian)

National Honor Society Candidate-

L Club- 3 years Taking various volunteer jobs in the community

STA- Students taking action club- 2 years taking various volunteer jobs in the community while helping underprivileged youth in the area

Art club- 1 year

Competitive swimming- 7 years (on a private club team)

Volunteer work-

Working with youth with special needs- 75 hours

working with economically disadvantaged youth- 12 hours

Girl scouts- 60 + for various activities

Tutoring students in Italian- 10 hours

(I'll probably have more tutoring hours once our tutor list gets set up)

Thank you to everyone who responds! I really appreciate it!

Also, I’ve received honor roll from 9th grade to 11th grade, then last two quarters of 11th grade, I got high honor roll.

High match (would have been a RD reach)

I mean, a high match is a near-reach…

With an ACT of 26, it’s not a high match or near-reach. The bottom quartile of ACT scores is 29, with the top quartile being 31.

NYU is definitely a mid-reach for you.

And… how important is ACT to NYU?

NYU is heavily stats based – the most important factors are GPA and test scores.
