Do they typically just give interviews to prospective students in the NYC area?
I don’t live in NYC thou. I don’t know if the interview means anything.
it depends on the program. if you’re not in the area, they should be able to do a phone or skype interview

did anyone else audition for tisch drama and not get asked what studio they wanted to be in? in years past i know they did this, but i didn’t get asked. i did feel like my audition went well, though.
Around 5pm according to the website. Not in the morning like other years

Does the decision get released as an email or does it just change the application status on Albert?
@university17 an interview usually means that you are borderline reject/Accept. However interviews are to confirm the admissions office idea of what kind of person you are, they are never the reason why you get in, but a lot of the time, they

@university17 nyu rarely gives out interviews, it’s only when they’re having trouble reading who you are within an application is when they decide to call up an interview

@sofialicir I live in Virginia. I’m the only person that I know of in my region who applied early decision 1.
