my housing portal still shows non-renewable

so on my housing portal my name changed, my DOB was added, and a username@nyu.edu email appeared. Is that a good sign?
does anyone NOT have their email or dob in the housing portal? i feel like this is something important as i’m not sure why an nyu email would be added there unless it’s automatic for everyone to have their net-id put in place there no matter application status.
@maltman I have my Net ID listed, my age and some other info but no full email or DOB
Hey guys I just wanted to know why all of you picked NYU as your ED school? I picked NYU because I love the city and hope to live in the city after college. I also like NYU global academic centers.
@rexregnum I picked NYU because, after completing the summer program, I realized how AMAZING the school actually is and how many opportunities the students have to succeed and do well post-undergrad. Good vibe, great area. Also, anything seems possible in NYC. It’s just a fun atmosphere.
i picked nyu because it’s been my dream for as long as i can remember and it’s the only place i can see myself getting both a great acting and academic education 
and it’s in the best location possible

@maltman GOTCHA. I have my regular email address, DOB, and N#. I also did the precollege program, though.
I picked NYU for ED cause their Clive Davis Music Program is everything I ever wanted for my career in music: it has right amount of creativity and entrepeunership to make it in the business. I love it and cannot fathom how perfect it is for me. Oh well.
First, I think the fa change is important. And for the housing portal, I think every applicant gets their DOB or id number. The most important thing is whether the non-renewable changes into freshmen, otherwise I don’t think it means anything.
I just looked at the housing portal. Theres no DOB or email on it 
but did get FA change to 2018? Maybe its cause i will commute, live in new york already…
I picked my NYU because my mom went there and i want to follow in her footsteps and I love the city of new york itself
