@littlemeow my financial aid changed and I’m a pretty weak applicant. I honestly wouldn’t worry at all guys, no matter how bad we all want hints we simply will not find out until the 18th.

@vyperr oh then hopefully it doesn’t mean much. good luck :)

@tgese11 i feel like i’m a pretty weak applicant as well because of gpa. i honestly hope this means nothing!

On the 18th will we get letters in the mail as well as an email? Or just an email?

It says on Albert we’ll just get an email on the 18th. I think mail will come later or something.

One week. We can do this.

8 days! And what tgese says is true-- looking for hints or clues will only get your hopes up/down (depending), when we won’t know for sure until the 18th. You’re only making yourselves more anxious by overanalyzing everything.

i’m so incredibly nervous my stomach hurts all the time! i find out the day of my calculus exam and the day before my ap gov exam… my 2 hardest classes that i have b/c splits in… SOS

@vyperr I applied to stern bpe program! I’m very nervous to find out since my financial aid thing is still the same. I have a weak gpa and act, but outstanding extra curriculars. I have had two financial sector internships and have started a local non profit(only to name a couple ecs). What kind of applicant are you? I wish you the best of luck and hope you get in!

I just got an email for an interview with the scholarship committee I’m crying

did anyone who applied CAS and not LSP get their status changed to LSP?!

This tread reminds me so much of last year. The only thing I will offer that I do know is true is that you will receive the option of a plus loan whether or not you will receive financial aid or whether or not you even applied for financial aid. So everyone will have a financial aid statement that is accepted.

@ithascometothis what??? What does it say? What school/program did you apply to?

@ithascometothis congrats!!! i would love to be you right now

And what is a “plus loan”? Is that another tab or something that we should see?

@uskoolfish is it normal for people to see it before the notification date? because i still dont see the change

@37183718 does yours still just display that there is no financial info?

@Correkid yup, i guess i didn’t get in…

@37183718 mine still hasn’t shown a change either. but the more i think about it, the less i think this indicates anything. i doubt NYU would let out such an obvious hint before they release their decisions.

Maybe they would though. Maybe it’s a consolation for changing the notification date…

It says they reviewed my application, the application acts as the basis for scholarships everyone’s rewarded, there aren’t any additional applications needed for scholarships, but they would like to schedule an interview with the scholarship committee and I’d receive a call soon eeeak

I applied for steinhardt mcc.
