It could be either. If you checked the box saying you would be open to other schools, they may put you in another school. They could just deny you. But hopefully you will get right into Gallatin!!

If they put you in LSP you can transfer into Gallatin after your sophomore year.

i’m so nervous…

I just heard you can appeal a rejection. Anyone know more about this?

@Correkid, nope, haven’t heard anything like that.

Does anyone know if a 2230 superscore is good enough for Stern? I have a fairly low GPA…

THERE IS ALMOST EXACTLY 2 DAYS LEFT. DIES Hey, does anyone know if 5pm is for EST?

@vyperr i dreamt about it too last night askdfashdlkf it’s def going to happen again tonight and monday night l o l UGH

and @infiniteloop 2230 isn’t bad for stern! i wouldn’t say it balances out a ‘fairly low’ GPA but it shows that despite what your GPA shows, you’re smart enough to do the work.

5 PM EST indeed

correkid-- I’m no expert, but from what I’ve heard it happens very rarely, and chances of success are very slim. Don’t just do it because you think you should have been accepted or want a second chance, but if you’ve done something significant since you submitted your application (taken on new leadership roles, gotten more involved, significantly improved GPA/SAT/ACT), or if you know that there was an error, perhaps in your transcript or test score reports.
I can’t find anything on NYU specifically regarding appealing an admissions decision, though, so they might not allow it at all…

last year for ed, what time did the first rejection come out? and what time did the first acceptance come out?

Chance me please! I get my decision back Tuesday!
