<p>I got two responses (I emailed both a CAS rep and a LSP rep):</p>
<p>LSP-Your application is in the process of being considered for Journalism in CAS as well as alternate programs at NYU since you indicated your interest in being considered for other programs on your application. Your decision will be sent to you on Thursday. Until then, please be patient and don’t worry about what your self-service says as it is not indicative of your application.</p>
<p>CAS-The status on Albert means that your file is being reviewed in various contexts by different programs, as you had checked off the ‘alternative programs’ box. </p>
<p>Nothing to read too much into here, just a part of the process.</p>

<p>Haha I feel exactly the same as you do sweetdreams!!! It’s like the best/worst thing that has ever happened to me!!! But I think it’s really weird how we all applied to CAS journalism, that’s making me really nervous that it’s a glitch… I don’t know what to think anymore!!!</p>

<p>@Sweetdreams, I know exactly how you feel! I am trying to forget this newly attained information. Or atleast convince myself that this was some glitch, that NYU’ll explain and apologize for. It wouldn’t be the first or last time that happened.

<p>i applied CAS Pre-Med, and i had the same status that the others had for GLS.</p>
<p>so just wanted to say Hi to all NYU Hopefuls :)</p>

I feel like the two answers only left me more confused. I guess we’ll just have to wait <em>shrugs shoulders</em>. It is best if we just forget about it, NYU is playing with our emotions lol :)</p>

<p>haha yeah me too because I always thought that our decisions have been sitting in some folder for awhile now, you know? I think its strange that they would be considering us for a different program less than 3 days before decisions were out!!! But maybe I’m trying too hard to cling to this strange semi-sign of acceptance!!! :/</p>

I WAS THINKING THE EXACT SAME THING! I refuse to believe 3 days till decisions my application is STILL being reviewed (especially when I submitted it a MONTH before the deadline). The answer was one of those weird vague answers that was just to “calm” my worries >.<</p>
<p>Think about it when all of us “semi-accepted’s” find out we actually got accepted <em>crosses fingers</em> we can all laugh about this :)</p>
