Admission decisions come in through mail and email, but you will have to go into Albert to accept their offer.
If you are rejected to your first choice but offered admission to a second choice such as CAS what time should you receive an email?
Me too. I actually feel sick.
I believe if you are rejected, they clarify it on their first email only as in you are not accepted in any campus!
^yup. Also, rejected ;_;
Please mention your location if you get accepted/rejected, so its easier to trace the waves of emails
Is anyone accepted? Or only rejection emails first
My friend got rejected - international UK
@DreamingOfNYU101
Did your friend have the FA change?
I have no idea sorry probably no since she got rejected @bismarck1996
So we’ve had one wave so far - it’s like 3:30am on the East Coast, and I think we can expect another wave soon
how many waves will there be…
I’m not sure if we can be certain about there being a wave. We only have around five people who told us their admissions results and its 3:40 AM EST so the majority of people who could possibly be receiving decision emails right now are asleep.

While decisions were slated to be released on February 15, decisions will be sent by email beginning in the pre-dawn hours (Eastern Standard Time) of Friday, February 13. To minimize the burden on our operating systems and to do our best to ensure accuracy, decisions will be released in waves. The releasing of all decisions will continue through the evening of Friday, February 13.
So yeah. Waves.
Okay people…does shanghai specify rejection? Because I got a general email about my rejection “Your NYU admission decision” I only applied in AD and SH…while my friend got two one with “Your NYU admission decision and the other with NYUSH admission decision”…Anyone who knows if getting two emails is normal for rejection?
Applying to AD and SH as well. If you receive a rejection for NYU without specifying the campus, I would guess that you are rejected. I think the reason for your friend getting two admission letters is that he is 1. accepted into the university and 2. accepted into the specific campus. If that makes any choice.
Hey Guys! I just wanted to say Good Luck to each and everyone who’s still awaiting their decision, and to those who received rejections, I urge you guys not to lose hope. There is something better for you all out there, and I know it! Good Luck to everybody!
