NYU ED 2 Official Thread

Has everyone finished their apps and supplements?
Let's discuss while we eagerly await our decisions come February-ish :O

Stats? Worries? Questions?

i’m almost done

care to chance me?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/new-york-university/1255620-chance-nyu-stern-ed-ii.html

Haven’t started my essays, but I’ll have plenty of time once I get out of school Friday for my two week holiday break. Actually only planning on applying ED2 if I get deferred or rejected from UChicago, otherwise if I miraculously get accepted I’ll probably just applied RD. So I’ll see who things play out…

Well I ended up going EDII, so the wait for February 15th has begun.

I wish Feb 15th were tomorrow.

I’m applying to Stern. To what schools are you guys/gals applying?

I’m applying to Tisch Photography

I’m applying to Tisch for Recorded Music.

Oh, man, you guys are going to be in debt for a long time. :)

I love NYU, but I couldn’t bring myself to apply for that reason

@turntabler

Well the beauty of applying is that you don’t have to accept or pay the money up front. If you can’t afford it you can simply deny admission. Some ED applicants even look at this as a possibility. Furthermore since you don’t know everyone’s economic status it would be unfair to assume everyone will be in debt. Kids that don’t qualify for aid at other colleges might pay around the same as an NYU student. The decision is hopefully between a student and their parents with knowledge of their parents finances. If the student is paying for college alone, then I agree that they will most likely end up saddled with debt.

I applied to NYU Stern as well! So nervous :(

Anyone applying to CAS economics?
Well, good luck to all of us! Hopefully we’ll get good news :)

I’ve applied to Stern. Now it’s time to play the waiting game.

Stern here as well. Don’t want to be devastated come Feb 15th so I’m just going to try and anticipate not getting in. “try” being the key word.

I want that email sooo bad! I applied to Tisch Recorded Music.

The idea that we’ll get admission decisions in a little over a month is both exciting and vomit-inducing.

And the 31 day countdown begins… :D

We’re getting closer…

Less than twenty days left …

Does anyone know if they’ll send out e-mails earlier, or is Feb 15th the set date?
