Guys, I haven’t gotten any info about my aid. Does this mean that i would not get any type of aid?
@Stellarqueen you’re the first applicant who’s expressed any apprehension about this whole deal…everyone else (me included) have jumped of the cliff in bliss.
@chbilal it’s most likely that you haven’t gotten any aid, but you can call admissions and check (DON’T call financial aid, I’ve heard that their automated machine leads you in circles)

Lol, I never have trouble with the FA office. Just press 0 to speak directly with an FA officer.
@ImNYUobsessed Good to see you with a typing capability after jumping off a cliff (in bliss). I’ve $24000/year in merit scholarship and I am still not sure whether the loans are worth it over the $15000/year that I can pay.
Has anyone already written withdrawal emails to the other colleges they applied to? I don’t know what to write, like, “Hey, remember me, the girl who wrote to you almost every week? Yeah, I’m withdrawing, lmaooooo”

I wrote to the one other school I applied to couple of days after and they still haven’t replied. But I applied as a transfer student there and I’m not supposed to find out if I even got accepted for another month! Maybe we just have to wait for the acceptance/denial?
@VandaAree I sent in one withdrawal, and am going to send in others this week…it’s better to withdraw so they can accept some other kid somewhere
The counselor I emailed was really nice and she wished me all the best and everything 
@Stellarqueen I only got a little more merit aid than you, and no loans because I’m international. I told you we were jumping off cliffs - I know NYU is going to put me in a tough financial situation, but I can work. If you applied ED2, you were pretty stoked about the school too - maybe you should take the leap (in bliss)

I just sent withdrawal emails to all the other colleges I applied to today. I also found out yesterday that I got the Presidential Scholarship from Beloit College, so I am thanking them for their generous offer.
