NYU enrollment fee?

<p>I am an international student planning to enroll in NYU but in what form would I send the $800 enrollment deposit? Would be it better as a check or just plain hard cash?</p>

<p>Also, does the enrollment deposit count towards our tuition? For example NYU's tuition for a year of enrollment is $40,082 for academics. Since I am depositing $500 for academics, would the total academics fee be reduced to $39,582? (Same question also for the room and board fees).</p>

<p>I’m going to be attending a Master’s program, but on my acceptance letter it said that the enrollment fee would be applied to tuition upon registration. So you may want to double check your admissions letter. Also, never send cash via mail anywhere, because you will not have a paper trail and will not be able to prove that you paid it. Send a check or money order.</p>
