Just sent it!
So no decisions today? Hopefully some more will come out on Thursday!
@closec The same thing happened to me! I submitted my application 9pm central time (10pm in New York) on April 1st, so I’m not sure why on Albert it says that I submitted my application on April 2nd. Did you contact NYU admissions yet?
Does anyone know when we’ll hear back from Tisch?
@CooperJuniorI I thought midterm report is required for freshmen applicants as it says on the main page of Albert when you log in.
@yyyyyyyy I think that refers to high school applicants who are entering as freshmen,
Oh I think you’re right…
I just called the admission office and was told they already started send out the decisions. They do it once a week. Every Monday. Hope this info helps.
@Janet041 thank you for the info! I was hoping they just put it on the web portal… now I have to stalk my postal worker!
I know right. … I’m nervous. Nervous and nervous. Lol
@Janet041, so they do not send out decisions on Tuesday and Thursday like they usually do, but instead change into Monday for this year?
That was the lady of the admin office told me. Every Monday. But You guys can call them to double check.
last thursday someone mentioned someone got into CAS
yes, one of my friends said she got accepted last Thursday afternoon and she submitted her application in January. maybe this is a little bit random… oh I am anxious about my decision now
Just found this thread So do we get the decisions through email, or the mail? I applied at the end of February, and haven’t heard anything yet!
@emmachar95 Hi! We get them by email, which is why I’ve been checking my email every 5 minutes of my life
@dreamingofnyu19 Thanks for the answer! I’ve been doing the same, just wanted to make sure that I wasn’t doing it in vain.
Oh same here.
CAS is significantly easier than Sterns. I was accepted this week into sterns (most likely because I created a really successful app on top of my other stats). CAS acceptance rate fluctuates between 10-30 percent depending on the year. Stern external transfers range from between 0-20 accepted applicants depending on the year, and it’s not ever higher then 50 accepted applicants that are accepted to transfer internally. This is information directly from my advisor.
@Thertz360 Do you know the stats for Tisch? (external, preferably)
