Is that true? I thought the admission for CAS would always come at last! Damn, I submitted my apps in 30th, which is around the deadline. Would that put me in disadvantage in the rolling basis system?
@dreamingofnyu19 thanks for the information! I hope this apply to all the schools. And @DMMMa do you know when did your friend submit her/his app?
Wait I guess I know who ur talking about…
@paradiseeee do you know when did he/she summit the app?
If @DMMMMa and I are speaking on the same person, she submitted her app back in January.
@paradiseeee, so for the rolling basis system, is this first come and first reviewed? I submitted my apps on March 30th. Would that be a disadvantage for me?
@CooperJuniorI I dont think the rolling basis will hurt your application. As far as I know the applications are viewed at the same time by different people.
The rolling system is so confusing to me because on the transfer thread from last year someone who had submitted their app on April 1st got in like two weeks later. I can’t tell what order they review the apps in at all
really early, like in January.
I submitted my app in late March as well:(
@msphalange so i’m assuming they review the apps randomly?
@keeksc2014 yeah that’s what I think too but then most of the early acceptances are from people like this who submitted in early January so it just throws me off. Nothing we can do though, just hope to wait calmly I guess!
but external transfers hear back last, right? Prob not til May?
@msphalange the rolling system sucks… that would be such a disadvantage for those who submitted late like me. @shoost12 I emailed the admission office and they said the decision is coming out about mid-April, and typically most of them will be released by the beginning of June
@keeksc2014, how many percent of decisions is the admission office gonna send out in mid-April? Will that be a large chunk of all admissions?
I see form the last year thread that most of decisions came out around May. That’s bad because my birthday is around that time. Don’t want to receive a rejection letter around my birthday. That must suck, and gonna be bitter realization of growth.
@CooperJuniorI They didn’t mention the percentage tho. Hopefully they send out most of the decisions before May. I can’t wait any longer lol. And don’t worry! I believe you will get an acceptance letter as your bday gift:)
anyone did not submit their college report?
meh i also submitted application in (late) January too but still haven’t heard from NYU yet
Did anyone apply for the summer term?
i submitted my app in the end of November and all my documents were processed in January, and i’m still waiting on a notification of admission, so don’t think rolling admissions means anything
