^^ i think that’s actually a really good sign lol
@tanchixiong sure, I’ll have to find my stats somewhere in the thread
has anyone heard back from tisch yet?
Just got an email asking for midterm grades. Anyone else get that?
@acceptmepls123 i dont think anyones heard back from tisch yet
@NYUhopeful_1198 That’s a good indication. I don’t think they would have asked for your Midterm Report if they weren’t considering you. When did you submit your application? And did you have your items checked off on Albert before they sent you that email?
Does anyone know whether their Admission’s Office works on weekends?
@lillyJ678564 I submitted my application on March 29th to Gallatin and yes I do have everything checked off on Albert. I guess it is a good indication, but I’m not going to believe it until I get my decision lol.
Btw, I got this email on Saturday by an admissions counselor. You should call and see if they are operating today.
Same here. They are asking for college report and midterm grades. I have all things checked off on my Albert tho. Still confused why not asking for these two before then I won’t submit missing materials such late.

College GPA: 3.97

Thoughts?
I didn’t get an email about midterm grades and I applied to tisch on march 17th. it might just be because i’m taking a semester off though since i didn’t put down any classes for this semester on my common app
@Daxx121 which school did you apply for and when?
@Daxx121 i mean you were supposed to do so. that’s why these documents were listed on the common app.
@itztobs the college report was, but the midterm report wasn’t.
@NYUhopeful_1198 well could you explain why he/she was asked to submit it then? obviously its needed and required for the application.
@itztobs it is not required for everyone. The people with fewer than 32 credits in college don’t provide enough information for the admissions committee. In the previous threads, not everyone was asked or did send the midterm report. Also, the numerous times I did call the ao, they just asked me to make sure I sent in my college report, but I was never asked to send in my midterm report until today.
I think the midterm report is needed for freshman applicants who will be a sophomore by the time they start their classes at NYU. It gives the admissions committee an estimation of our final GPA.
@NYUhopeful_1198 omg im so glad that you are an expert on this. your existence excites this community to the greatest.

Just to add on what I posted earlier this morning, I can also already access the Bursar page and it says “Student Account” on there so I’m really not sure if this is a sign lol
