@amsrachel my housing only shows “summer 2017” as well! i applied to tisch though. i also got accepted to fordham LC so i’ll be going there if i don’t get into nyu (:

I applied on feb 28. interesting how so many ppl applied later than us got a decision @amsrachel
i think they must be going by school and major rather than when the applications came in
I applied to CAS feb 17 and still havent gotten a decision, i am freaking out

Did any of the admissions counselors say that CAS decisions are released on Monday’s and Friday’s?

Im pretty much in the same situation with you guys.
Admitted to Fordham LC and BU… I applied for CAS for CS & Econ, but I havent heard back or see any change on my portal… 
So many of us were admitted to Fordham LC! I love it. Still waiting to get my financial aid package from Fordham though. NYU is my top choice but Fordham is a very, very close second.
@NYUhopeful_1198 Thank you! I didn’t really specify a ton, I just discussed the different areas I am interested in (Math, science, business, etc) and said why I think Gallatin would be a great match for me.
@Gabelybabe I actually did not apply for any aid because I thought it would be wrong to take any money away from people who need it more than I do. From what I have heard though, NYU is pretty difficult about aid. I would say other types of scholarships might be everyone’s best bet 
@1livelaughlove and did you also send in your midterm report or did they ask you to do send in?
NYU asked me for my midterm report so I’m assuming that means they’re on the fence with letting me in. Do you guys know how their waitlist works? So far it seems like everyone has been accepted (or rejected) but there hasn’t been any word on anyone being waitlisted.
I had a 3.9 HS GPA and a 3.9 College GPA, my father is an alum so i guess that helped as well. I was admitted to CAS. The financial aid is garbage! Im planning on working while attending to alleviate the cost a little…
@va2pittsburgh I was also asked for my midterm report. Where did you see rejections?
@lillyJ678564 They actually didnt ask for a midterm report!
HS GPA: 3.8 (I only took a couple APs so my weighted/NW were about the same)
EC: Singing, acting, VP of community service for an honors society, Research for 2 years, member of another honor society, etc.
I think my essay was really strong and people who read it also thought that and I thought my supplement was kind of boring but still good Hope that was helpful
