@mmmmmmmmmmop yeah, I am a transfer international student and I got rejected on Tuesday. I do not think that internationals have less priority, but I do think it depends on which school you applied too. Although, internationals go through a need-aware application process, which may help/hurt you. It def did hurt me.
Anyone got any more advice for a future transfer student?

So are our chances of getting on-campus housing pretty much like our chances of winning the lottery? Cuz no housing is pretty much a deal breaker for my parents

@kenziesull you should call an adviser and ask them to put you in touch with someone in housing and then talk to them. theyre going to have a lot more resources and options for you than anyone on college confidential. I’m in the same boat as you and I plan on calling Wednesday once I’ve finished my finals

RIP, if final decision is actually on may 8th then most likely 90% or even 100% of us will be rejected on that date. Since NYU release rejections last. Whelp. I guess it’s time to focus on finals.
@jasonyty12 Well, I heard that final decisions, at the latest, will be released on May 16th, so I don’t know if May 8th is the final decision date. If you’re right, then I hope that I get my decision earlier 
P.S. I got this statement from the NYU Admissions Blog: " We still have plenty of offers of admission to extend for those students who have applied for transfer admission. We aim to have the vast majority of transfer admission decisions made by May 16 or very soon after."

Are there any Tisch Film & Television majors who have been admitted? We start in the summer so I feel like we should know by now. We will need to figure out housing…
So far all we know is that housing might not be available for transfers and that all decisions will be out on May 16th…
