^You're right. That's what it comes down to basically.

BU. BU is a great school and you'll get a great education. Boston is fun. and you got money to go there. Save your money for grad school and life. Being in debt to come to NYU is not worth it.

I got into both schools....I got myself really excited about NYU too though. When I got my letter, it was GSP not CAS. first dissappointment cuz altho i dont think they get treated differently, GSP gives you less class options. then my finaid letter came and said they would give me 25k in scholarships and grants..half tuition. My efc is 1700 so my parents def cannot afford to pay and by the time im 21 i dont want to be in a debt of 160k. so even though i am in love with NYU and NYC i chose not to go. i say you should work hard in BU get good grades save money and go to a really good grad school cuz that is the name that youll be known for..not your undergrad. im in between tufts (full ride) and u of chicago...

I felt GSP wasn't as good as CAS too and was initially disappointed, but now I really want to go. But I don't want to be in debt for grad school. =/

Which kind of grad school are you looking at? :) Law?

Nawh, humanities.

I'm not sure what some of the terms mean on my aid for NYU.

General Studies Program Scholarship $3,750.00
J. Eckhouse Scholarship $2,500.00
Federal Work - Study Eligibility $2,000.00
Expected Perkins Loan $1,200.00
Suggested Stafford Loan $1,750.00
Suggested PLUS Loan $14,791.00

I'm not sure how good this is. This is per semester I'm guessing since it says Fall 08 and lists the same awards again for Spring 09.
