and also I am visiting NYU on July 1st, who do i contact for tours? Any advice for visiting?

Okay, as for the stats thing, keep up the good work senior year and you should be fine. Get some GREAT rec's and write a kickass essay and your good. I'd also recommend taking the SAT and SAT II's again just in case. (I know someone that applied with a perfect GPA w/AP classes and a 2100 on the SAT and still didn't get in). Other than that, I think you're set.

In terms of what to do when at NYU. Take my advice: Take a campus tour. You'll learn alot about housing, dining, NYU facilities, processes, etc. From a student and advisable staff member's point of view. (Just don't ask about tuition, because I thought they were gonna tear my head off when I asked that). And be glad that you're going in July. I went in March and my nose almost fell off from the cold. I also recommend this restaurant near NYU called Dojo I believe. Cheap food, Cool atmosphere, and it allows you to pick up the overall "vibe" of NYU. You're gonna run into alot of students there. Oh, and check online at the NYU website, often they have days just for Juniors, or entering high school seniors for that matter. You might be able to get an even more detailed explanation.
