wait i attended the interview session but i havent turned in TAP yet but they didnt ask me for it? they didnt ask me to fill it out im confused im obviously going to fill it out on time but like they havent noticed i guess? what does that mean
@203267422 omg I did the same. I just tried to RSVP, and it send me a confirmation number. Not sure if we are supposed to get an invitation email first omg :’) It is named NYU Eligibility Opportunity Interview 4:00 PM. not sure if it is really HEOP. Btw is it true that they favor mostly minorities?
I tried again and it worked, I don’t think that there will be any negative consequences of rsvping early. @ChloeMartinez from past threads most kids who are accepted tend to be a minority. Which sucks for me :(.
Omg haha. Are you cancelling the rsvp then? When do they send out invitation emails tho? Late February and early march? But theres a info session next week. And wow I thought it only depends on your parents income and grades and that C step is for specific races.what happens if you have a high gpa but low sat score :’) would I still be considered? @ChloeMartinez no they don’t favor minorities, it’s just that most of the HEOP students are minorities. If you’re academically and financially eligible that’s what they look at.
@203267422 when you say academically qualified, is there a specific gpa maximum? And good thing they are not considering race as a major factor

did you guys get any news about heop interview for RD?
I canceled mine. I called and they said it was an error. Not canceling it could possibly jeopardize your chances as they might think that you already had your interview once past the date.

@ChloeMartinez yes. Speaking to a HEOP student, she also said that she had this mistake and she canceled it but later on got a invitation email on February 27.

Guys, so if I do not get an NYU HEOP interview confirmation email but it does say that I have an upcoming interview on Albert (Feb 17), does it mean that it was just a glitch on NYU Albert?
