Nyu housing-in detail!!!

THE HOUSIN VOCAB!!!

1)single bedroom;shared suite
2)1-2 room suites;2-5 students
3)triple1 room-3 students

Could someone explain what the above means exactly???

Do each person live in seperate rooms??? AND ofcourse the "toilets" are something i am concerned abt... one person per toilet???
I need a detailed explanation from an nyu insider!!!

I am talking about freshman traditonal dorms..

also, do we get to choose the shared suite or triple room? Or are they all assigned to us??

In each of the above there will usually be a single bathroom.

In a single, shared suite, you will be in a suite with others, but have your own private sleeping space.

In the 1-2 room suites, you will be sharing a bedroom and sharing a bathroom. There may be more than one bedroom.

The triple is one bedroom shared by three with 1 bathroom.

To add to the above…the person in a single pays more money for housing. So it is assigned, since it will be reflected in your bill.

thnk you thnkyou…so we have to specify the room type as well right?

do we pay the water and electrical bills???

no, all utilities and internet are included
