If I applied to NYU ED| with my IB predicted score, and got it - how many point can I drop in the worst case scenario and still get the place?

Fellow freshman here. My counsellor suggested 1-2 points is usually safest, however if you do drop 3 points I still wouldn’t sweat over it. 43 is pretty good, so as long as you’re above 40 or 39 it’ll be fine. Don’t take my word for it though, this is just what I’ve managed to derive from my application experience. The standards are often higher for stern, if that is your admitted program.
