NYU LSP (Poli-Sci) Vs. GWU Poli-Sci

So, I'm into LSP at NYU, eventually majoring in Political Science.
I'm also accepted to GW for Political Science.
Eventually I want to go to a 'top' (If I can) Law School.
For the record, I've toured both schools extensively and love them both a ton.
I'm getting 12k a year from GW.

Now I know GW's most valuable asset is its DC location, and DC + Poli-Sci = priceless (almost). I also know that NYU is an amazing school. How do the two universities' political science programs compare? Does LSP hinder political science opportunities?
I know DC has a ton of excellent internship opportunities (Capital Hill, Justice Dept, etc.) for Poli-Sci kids. Can internship opportunities in New York rival those in DC, with respect to political science?

Finally (and MOST importantly) I really want to know how a degree from NYU vs. a degree from GW will affect me getting into a really good law school, or just getting a job down the line.

I'm so stuck lol.

law school is largely a numbers game. your GPA and LSAT will impact your law school applications much more than the caliber of your undergrad. that being said, law school ain’t cheap! if GW gave you more money, then i would tell you to go to GW, because you will want to save every penny for law school. NYU undergrad does NOT help you in NYU Law admissions.

in this case, i would tell you to go to GW if it’s cheaper.

NYU poli sci is a great department here, i’m a poli sci double major. however, the faculty itself leans conservative, while the student body is more liberal, so take that as you will.

if you do REALLY WELL on your LSATs and have a high gpa + ecs, it won’t matter so much what your undergrad school is.

good luck!
