NYU Neural Sciences Major

I've always wanted to be a psychiatrist, so now I'm wondering how to pick between schools. I've decided it's come down to UC Irvine, UC San Diego, and New York University.

I'm leaning towards NYU, partly because they have their own Center for Neural Studies, and partly because it's in New York City (I went down there. It was awesome).

But aside from what it says on the Center website, I'm not sure how NYU's neural science program (for undergrads) stacks up against the other two. I know that chances are that SD is the best, but is it a mindblowing degree of betterness, or are the levels somewhat somewhat comparable?

If it helps, I also care about being taught by faculty (not so much TA's) and research opportunities for undergrads.

So can somone please help me out and earn my eternal gratitude?

Bump. Please help or offer your two cents if you can. Also, financial aid plays a part in this. My parents have said that they’ll pay 27K a year, which, after scholarships etc will leave me with about 12 K of debt = 48K one I leave college (before med school).

Please, which one would you pick?

I wish I could give you more help, but I’m in the same debate between Barnard and NYU with the possibility of neuroscience,

BUMP AGAIN. Anyone?
