You have amazing chances at all of the schools except Georgetown, NYU, Tufts, and BC. Georgetown is startlingly competitive, so your SAT score would have to be improved a lot. You have a chance at NYU, Tufts, and BC but will be held back by your standardized tests. Your extracurrics are good but only your shadowing of the NYU professor shows direction, which could be a detriment. I would suggest writing an amazing essay for NYU, Tufts, and BC or you may not get in. Georgetown may be quite difficult. You’ll be fine in everything else.

Chance me as well? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1790920-could-i-possibly-be-a-future-sternie-at-nyu.html#latest

American: 9.5/10

NU:8/10
BC:7/10
BU: 9.5/10
NYU: 5/10
Georgetown: 3/10
Fordham: 8/10

@Starforward if i bring my score up to around a 2100 would you say I have a better chance with NYU? I’m planning on entering the healthcare industry thats why my ec’s are at the rehab & dental office.

Yes. I believe you would be quite competitive for NYU. Don’t submit your ACT scores. Only submit the SATs. If you get a 2100 you’ll be in a good position for admission.

Do you think you could share your opinion with me for my chance thread? Thanks!

I would say that you a pretty competitive applicant, except your standardized test scores might hold you back from your schools. You will most likely get into American, BU, and Fordham with no problem. However, if you want to go to Northeastern, Tufts, Boston College, New York University, and Georgetown you need higher SATs or ACTs. I would say if you get a 32-33 on the ACT you will be set. Or if you get above a 2100 on the SAT you will be set!
